The Method

A five-act choreography of material transformation.

  1. 01

    Recover Textiles

We collect discarded fabrics, deadstock, and post-industrial offcuts that would otherwise be landfilled.

  2. 02

    Process Materials

Fibers are sorted, cleaned, and broken down into a soft pulp ready to be re-bonded.

  3. 03

    Combine with Algae

Cultivated algae act as a natural binder, replacing petrochemical resins with living chemistry.

  4. 04

    Create Biomaterials

The blend is pressed, dried, and finished into sheets.

  5. 05

    Create Products

Each object is hand-finished in our Detroit, Michigan studio. Limited runs, considered design.

From waste, a future material.

Want to see the materials in your hand? Our workshops are open to designers, students, and the curious.
